Party leader attends groundbreaking ceremony for boarding school in Dak Lak

(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary To Lam on Wednesday attended and gave the order to commence construction of a boarding school for primary and secondary levels in Ea Rok commune, Dak Lak province.

The 5.8 million USD project is being built on an area of nearly 6 and designed to serve nearly 700 students from Ea Rok Commune and the surrounding area.

At the ceremony, General Secretary Lam reaffirmed the Vietnamese Party and State’s consistent view that education and training is top national priority. He requested greater efforts to ensure the project will become effective.

“Dak Lak province, the Department of Education and Training, local Party committees and authorities, and the school should proactively prepare the necessary conditions regarding the teaching staff and curriculum. It’s imperative to effectively manage, operate, and utilize facility once it is completed; build a healthy and comprehensive educational environment; and educate students in ethics, lifestyle, ideals, and the spirit of overcoming difficulties and striving for excellence. The school needs to truly become a second home for the children, so that parents can confidently entrust their children to it.”

The General Secretary expressed his hope that the students of Dak Lak province in general would nurture their aspirations for learning, cultivate their will to excel, study to grow, study to escape poverty, and contribute to building a more developed homeland.

Earlier on Wednesday, Party leader To Lam visited and extended Lunar New Year greetings to the officers and soldiers of the Ea H’Leo Border Guard Post.
