Party, State leaders pay pre-Tet visits to localities
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra on Sunday visited and extended Tet greetings to the Party committee, administration and people of Bat Xat and Trinh Tuong communes, as well as officers and soldiers of the Bat Xat Border Guard Post in Lao Cai province. She presented over 1,000 gifts to local policy beneficiary and poor households.

Earlier Sunday afternoon, Deputy Prime Minister Tra paid pre-Tet visits to Cam Duong High School and awarded 30 scholarships to students who have strived to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

On Sunday afternoon, in anticipation of the Lunar New Year of the Horse, a delegation led by President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Doan Minh Huan and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh visited, extended New Year greetings, and delivered gifts to the people of Muong Pon commune and the armed forces stationed in Dien Bien province.
In Muong Pon commune, the delegation presented 200 Tet gift packages to households in difficult circumstances. The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics gave 19,000 USD as Tet gifts to poor households throughout Dien Bien province.
