Major Indian newspapers such as The Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Hindu, The Indian Express, and The Quint have published extensive coverage of the event, praising Vietnam’s development achievements over the past five years under the Party leadership.

Professor Chintamani Mahapatra, a researcher at the Kalinga Institute of Indo-Pacific Studies in India, commented: "You know, Vietnam today has become a middle-income country from a poor country. It is an achievement. Now, Vietnam wants to become a high-income country by 2045, which is the goal. Likewise, Vietnam has a target of 2045, hundred years of its independence, to become a high-income country. The way the Vietnamese economy has been evolving, I think this target is very well achievable."

"But whenever we set a target, the road is not always smooth and nice. There will be hurdles, difficulties, constraints. At the moment, when we talk about the success story of Vietnam, you know, it is true that the purchasing power of the Vietnamese people today is very good. There are large number of millionaires in Vietnam today. In fact, in the last ten years, the number of millionaires has doubled in Vietnam. And many, many countries around the world are looking at Vietnam as a good destination for investment," added Professor Chintamani Mahapatra.

Communist parties and left-wing movements in India and South Asia are closely following the Congress to study Vietnam’s development model and draw lessons to strengthen both theory and practice of socialism.
