A: I have a letter from Robert Gauvin who wrote to us on a snowy night in Ottawa, Canada. He said “winter this year came late to most of Canada. The last few weeks winter has made up for its late arrival. Snow is still falling in early March and the temperature falls below -10DC during the day.”

A: Vietnam has many colorful festivals and annual events which range from simply entertaining the community to honoring Vietnam’s founders and heroes.

A: In a letter to us this week, Markku wrote: “I’m writing to you, because I listened to your transmission again after 48 years. The date of your last QSL card was August 5, 1968. DX listening was then my hobby and now that I’m at the retirement age, I once again have time to listen to the radio”.

(VOVworld) - The fever of spring and Tet, the Vnese Lunar New Year, has arrived. From February to April, Hanoi is humid and wet with frequent drizzles. The temperature ranges from 15 to 20 DC. Because this weather encourages plants to bud and flowers to blossom, spring is the best time for tourists to witness the vitality of Vietnam’s tropical nature.

A: Vietnamese festivals are variously categorized as agricultural festivals, religious festivals, competitions of folk singing and games, and cultural festivals honoring local heroes and traditions.

(VOVworld) - Reading listeners’ letters is one of my favorite work activities. Today we welcome Dr. Francis Bonardi of France to our DX’ing community. He wrote: “I’m a new listener to your station. I listen on Wednesday and I really enjoy your informative mail bag program. (VOVworld) - To read listener letters is always the most interesting activity in our daily routine. Both compliments and criticisms tell us the results of our work. Grant Skinner of England wrote: “Radio has brought me free learning and education about your country. Radio has opened up my mind to use my imagination, which has a greater effect than television.

B: Nguyen Du, who was born in 1765 and died in 1820, wrote many valuable works, the most famous being The Tale of Kieu. This masterpiece has been now translated into more than 20 languages and is cherished for its creativity, independent thinking, and distillation of Vietnamese culture.
