HCM city reported the largest number of new cases (7,310), followed by its neighboring provinces of Binh Duong (3,966), and Dong Nai (945). Hanoi detected 36 new infections.

Vietnam has so far confirmed 550,996 cases including 311,710 recoveries and 13,701 deaths.
