To date, Vietnam has documented a total of 1,694,874 cases of COVID-19.

During the day, 38,260 more patients were given the all clear, raising the total number of cured cases to 1,302,542. But 245 others died.

As of Wednesday Vietnam administered 148.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. 99% of the population aged 18 years and older got at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine and the rate of fully vaccinated people is 88.8% of the adult population. 39 provinces and cities nationwide have rolled out booster vaccine shots.
