Sergei Naryshkin, Director of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), subsequently confirmed meeting Ratcliffe in Moscow to discuss matters related to intelligence operations.
On Friday, US officials briefed President Zelensky on Ratcliffe's talks in Moscow and the proposal for a trilateral summit, according to Axios. US officials added that Mr. Ratcliffe discussed the possibility of restarting peace negotiations.
