(VOVworld) – A program to educate people about climate change took place in Ha Noi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho on Saturday, part of the “People’s Climate Mobilization” campaign initiated by the international environmental organization 350.org.

The campaign aims to raise public awareness on coal’s negative impact on the environment and human health, and persuade the Vietnamese government to revise its national energy development strategy to use renewable energy sources instead of coal.
