The program was jointly organized by the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Women’s Union Central Committee to mark the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930–2026) and Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20.
Artists, singers, and performing arts groups staged works about the homeland, mothers, children, love, and the simple values of everyday life.
The name “Connecting Hearts” conveys the idea of connecting people in need with those willing to share and support them, promotes the Vietnamese tradition of mutual support and compassion, inspires a greater sense of responsibility and encourages practical community action to help ease the difficulties faced by women and children living in particularly difficult circumstances.
