Many travel agencies have reported a surge in bookings to Hanoi. Inter-regional tours like the Hanoi-Ninh Binh, Hanoi-Ha Long, and Hanoi-Moc Chau have also seen sharp increases in bookings since early August.
Tour bookings for stays during the National Day holiday increased by 20-25% compared to the same period last year, said Pham Anh Vu, a representative of the Viet Travel Media JSC. Tourists began planning for their trips since as early as June to secure accommodations near major event venues like Ba Dinh Square, the Old Quarter, and Hoan Kiem Lake.
