Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Binh Duong, Long An, and Dong Nai province are asked to administer a first COVID-19 vaccine dose to all adults, including pregnant women, by September 15 and then administer a second dose to eligible citizens.

Vietnam has vaccinated nearly 21.5 million people, of which more than 3 million have received a second shot, the Ministry said.
