Throughout August, the Hue Sports Festival, themed "Sports for Community Health", will feature 19 activities alongside other cultural Autumn Festival events. The festival aims to promote sports and healthy lifestyles, foster cultural exchange, strengthen ties between Hue and other provinces and cities, encourage business participation, and stimulate tourism.

A highlight of the season will be the Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 – International Heritage and Music Festival, to be held from August 30 to September 1 at Hue City Sports Centre Square. The event will be free of charge for residents and visitors during the National Day holiday.

Another highlight is the Hue Nam Palace Festival, one of Hue's most distinctive traditional religious festivals, which is scheduled to take place from August 20 to 22.

In September, the Autumn Festival will continue with a series of events, including the Traditional Boat Racing Championship on the Perfume River, the Hue Lion Dance Festival 2026, the opening ceremony of the Hue City Sports Games, lion, unicorn and dragon dance performances accompanied by Mid-Autumn lantern processions, and the "Hue Royal Tuong – Echoes of the Past" programme, which brings royal court opera closer to the public.

The "Imperial Full Moon Night" programme, celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, will also be held at the historic Hue Imperial Citadel.
