The southeastern province of Binh Duong reported the second largest number of new cases (3,332), followed by Dong Nai province (746). Hanoi detected two new cases.

Vietnam’s daily caseload averaged 9,938 in the past 7 days.

The country has so far confirmed 756,689 cases including 727,926 recoveries and 18,584 deaths.

More than 38.3 million doses of vaccines have been administered nationwide.
