Hanoi continues to lead the daily caseload with nearly 3,000 new infections, followed by Nghe An province and Da Nang city.

The country has so far reported 2,358,786 cases and 2,122,380 recoveries.

38,424 patients have died, accounting for 1.6% of the total infections.

More than 182 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. Vietnam aims to give a booster shot to all people from 18 years old by the end of the first quarter.
