In the first phase held earlier in September, the full time deputies reviewed the outcomes of the first extraordinary session of the 16th National Assembly and provided input on six draft laws.
The majority of other draft laws will be reviewed by the National Assembly Standing Committee during this second phase. They include the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Non-agricultural Land Use Tax and the Law on Corporate Income Tax; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Natural Resources Tax; the Law on Donation, Procurement, and Transplantation of Human Tissues and Body Parts and Donation and Procurement of Cadavers (amended); the Law on Data Security; and the Law on Electronic Identification and Authentication.
During this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will review and adopt draft resolutions, including the Resolution on the 2027 Law-making Program and the Resolution on the Protection Regime for Judges—as well as conduct oversight activities and make decisions on other important matters.
