He made the remarks at a ceremony in Hanoi on Monday marking the 62nd Traditional Day of the Service (October 22) and conferring the title Hero of the People’s Armed Forces.
“The Air Defense-Air Force Service must always stay proactive on every front and take the lead in science, technology, digital transformation, and modernization. It must never be caught off guard or become complacent about its achievements,” PM Chinh said.
He also called on the Service to master the research, production, and operation of modern, high-tech weaponry.
