Lao Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith expressed confidence that General Secretary and President To Lam, together with Vietnam’s leadership, will lead the country to new achievements in implementing the 14th National Party Congress Resolution and realizing the goal of a prosperous, strong, democratic, equitable, and civilized nation.
He reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
Chinese General Secretary and President Xi Jinping emphasized the Vietnam China ties as a “community with a shared future that caries strategic significance”.
He noted that bilateral ties have grown remarkably under the leadership of the two Parties and countries, and pledged to maintain strategic exchanges and deepen cooperation, thereby jointly guiding the development of the China – Vietnam community with a shared future, advancing each country’s socialist cause, and delivering more benefits to both peoples while contributing to regional and global peace and stability.
Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated General Secretary To Lam for being elected President of Vietnam. They highlighted Mr. To Lam’s leadership capacity and determination, expressing confidence that bilateral relations will continue to advance to new heights.
In a congratulatory message to Party General Secretary To Lam on his election as State President, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the NA’s decision once again reflects the highest political credibility of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam and broad support for Vietnam’s socio-economic development path and its efforts to safeguard national interests on the international stage.
He expressed confidence that Party General Secretary To Lam’s concurrent role as State President will further strengthen the Vietnam–Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and voiced his readiness to continue constructive dialogue and close coordination on bilateral, regional and global issues.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that bilateral friendship will continue to grow and pledged closer cooperation to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership.
Meanwhile, Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet congratulated Le Minh Hung on his election as Prime Minister.
Cuban National Assembly President Esteban Lazo Hernandez also congratulated Tran Thanh Man on his re-election as National Assembly Chairman of Vietnam.
