Chairing a meeting on Thursday in Hanoi to discuss preparation plan, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son said the Spring Fair coincides with celebration of the Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Horse 2026, which marks a new spring and the country's entry into a new era.
The fair, which will take place right after the 14th National Party Congress, will create an atmosphere of excitement, stimulate domestic consumption, strengthen the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" movement, and promote the Vietnamese Tet culture to international friends, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
He requested the units to finalize the overall design, diversify product zones from agricultural products, textiles, and footwear to wooden furniture, and urged localities and businesses to coordinate closely with media agencies to promote products.
