At the press conference, the Ministry of Finance said that a number of fiscal support policies will remain in force until the end of this year, including a 2% reduction in value-added tax (VAT) on goods and services currently subject to the 10% VAT rate, the extension of the agricultural land use tax exemption until the end of 2030, the deferral of payment deadlines for several taxes, and the continuation of exemptions or reductions for 46 types of fees and. The Ministry is also working with other ministries and agencies to study appropriate tax measures for petrol and petroleum products in line with global energy price movements.
