Running through September 20, the festival is being held at several of the capital’s leading cultural and heritage sites and features more than 20 cultural, artistic, and tourism activities.
This year’s event brings together more than 3,000 artists and performers, along with over 100 artisans and heritage practitioners from across Hanoi. They will take part in performances, demonstrations, and interactive activities aimed at preserving and passing on heritage values to future generations.
Pham Hoang Giang, General Director of the festival, said: “We have created a narrative that connects Hanoi’s heritage with that of the world. This year, we have invited participants from countries such as India, South Korea and Japan. Our goal is to create a new cultural identity by blending traditional and contemporary elements, bringing heritage values closer to young people in Vietnam and around the world.”
