TikTok launched the hashtag #SEAGames31 to encourage sports fans to follow information about the Games, monitor training progress, and support athletes on the TikTok platform throughout the competition.
The hashtag #SEAGames31 has already been linked to more than 370,000 videos and 4.1 billion views.
TikTok has dedicated an exclusive search hub and 6 camera effects to the Games, to continuously update information about the tournament, and has also applied a widget shortcut feature to the event, an exclusive feature only for international events such as the Olympics and the World Cup.
