Vietnam's Minister of Agriculture and Environment Trinh Viet Hung proposed 4 priorities for regional cooperation including building more resilient and better-connected agri-food value chains, accelerating innovation and digital transformation, mobilizing investment and innovative financing for scalable solutions, and strengthening knowledge sharing, capacity building, and cooperation in APEC forums.
Hung urged APEC members to pursue three transformative shifts: from digital agriculture to integrated digital agri-food systems, from isolated technology pilots to scalable solutions, and from individual innovation efforts to an APEC-wide innovation partnership network.
