At the meeting, Deputy PM Chinh urged China to prioritize railway cooperation and expedite the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong line by 2025 while expanding bilateral trade with greater market access for Vietnamese agricultural and seafood products, and boosting collaboration in the digital, green, and circular economies and energy transition.
He said Vietnam is ready to create favorable conditions for China’s investment in large-scale, high quality and modern technology projects.
Vice President Han said China is ready to strengthen transport connectivity, expand imports of quality Vietnamese goods, and encourage Chinese high-tech firms to invest in Vietnam. He also called for greater local-level exchanges and cooperation in tourism, education, culture, and people-to-people ties
