The two trains, SE1 and SE4, will operate overnight on January 28, 2025 (the 29th of the lunar calendar). Train SE1 departs from Hanoi Station at 10:10pm, while SE4 departs from Saigon Station at 7:30pm, heading toward Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, respectively.
Each train will be decorated with artwork reflecting traditional Tet cultural activities such as flower markets and calligraphy writing plus Tet-themed symbols such as peach blossoms and apricot flowers, representing the traditions of northern and southern Vietnam.
As the clock strikes midnight, they can join a countdown celebration with a sweet buffet, participate in lucky draws with exciting prizes from Vietnam Railways and sponsors, enjoy traditional Tet dishes, and take part in folk games.
The Spring Train is a new tourism product being launched for the first time during the Lunar New Year of 2025.
