Party leader and President Lam will attend the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, engage in bilateral activities in the US, and pay a State visit to Canada from Sunday to next Friday. Ambassador Dung said:
"The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework has identified the key pillars of cooperation – politics, diplomacy, security, defense, economics, and people-to-people exchanges. Those will remain central to bilateral cooperation as the two sides place greater emphasis on advanced technology, clean energy, and resilient supply chains, which Vietnam has identified as priorities for its new phase of development. The US has strengths in those areas and shares Vietnam’s interest in promoting sustainable growth,” he noted.
Ambassador Dung said the two countries can build more diversified and resilient supply chains by boosting trade in advanced technology products, logistics connectivity, and stronger links between US investors and Vietnamese enterprises. He said the Vietnamese community in the US, which consistently looks toward the homeland, serves as a bridge between the two nations.
