They used to depend mainly on agricultural production, and faced many difficulties. But since 2017 Ea Drong residents have escaped poverty thanks to the seedlings and breeding stock provided by the "Piggy bank" model which is being spread across Cu M'gar district.

(VOVWORLD) - To compete with imported grapes and to serve future exports, Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam’s largest grape producer, has created new grape varieties like NH04-102, a black seedless finger grape that adapts to different types of soil and fetches prices 4 to 5 times higher than other varieties.

(VOVWORLD) - River-borne tourism plays an important role in Can Tho city’s economy, producing great values and boosting local development. But a big volume of waste littering the Mekong River has seriously affected the environment and the quality of life of the locals, and hindered sightseeing. To address the pollution problem, the Can Tho administration has worked with the Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) to deploy the “Zero Waste to Mekong River” project. After one year, the river and many nearby tourism sites are cleaner.

(VOVWORLD) - The number of Thanh Hoa province’s fishing vessels conducting illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing has greatly decreased thanks to efforts to strictly abiding by the European Commission’s recommendations. The coast guard has worked hard to increase management of and communications to fishermen.

The love connection journey will continue when the delegation returns to the mainland.
