National Assembly Deputy Chairman Uong Chu Luu told a ceremony on Wednesday: “We need to continue to encourage businesses to invest in technological applications to develop rural industry and production towards greater productivity and quality while ensuring food hygiene and environmental protection. Solutions should support sustainable value chain production links and economic and labor restructuring in rural areas. Developing rural industry is an important task and should be prioritized.”

Cao Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said: “Ministries, sectors, political and social organizations, and localities should help enterprises with trade promotion and application of technological advancements into production to ensure food hygiene and improve productivity and quality. Support measures are needed to form sustainable value chain production links and economic and labor restructuring in rural areas to help industrial and handicraft villages nationwide integrate into the global economy.”
