The Hanoi People's Committee on Monday issued an official telegram on the suspension of non-essential activities. From 5 pm on Monday, Hanoi will temporarily close relic sites and religious establishments and suspend operation of street restaurants, cafes, and sidewalk tea and coffee stalls until a new direction is issued. Indoor restaurants are required to perform cleaning and disinfection, make a minimum distance of 1 meter between people or install a shield between sitting positions, not to use shared items, and encourage take-away.
Everyone returning Hanoi after the Reunification Day and May Day holiday is requested to fill in the health declaration.
On Monday, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Ho Chi Minh City held an emergency meeting and decided to suspend the operations of massage and sauna parlors, theaters, cinemas, and electronic games establishments from 6pm on Monday.
