The event is part of the third phase of the “Chi” or “Strength of Will” Initiative, a program to help decrease consumer demand for rhino horn and other endangered wildlife animals among entrepreneur circles in Vietnam.
The Initiative was launched in 2014 by the TRAFFIC - the wildlife trade monitoring network.
The USAID Wildlife Asia project offers solutions to prevent and combat trans-border wildlife trafficking crimes with a focus on elephants, rhinos, tigers, and pangolins.
Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand are the program’s beneficiaries.
