Participants agreed that besides taking advantage of incentive tariffs for origins of goods, attention should be paid to trade remedies and frauds.

Le Trong Dung, Director of the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam, said: “Over the past 5 years the EU has conducted no dumping investigation on any kind of Vietnamese goods or subsidy. In order to sustainably take advantage of the EVFTA, it’s important to abide by its regulations of origins and anti-evasion.”

Functional agencies, including the Department of Trade Promotion and the Department of EU and America Market, have specific programs to support businesses to access market information.
