Vietnam’s wins over Malaysia and Indonesia earned the team 7.63 and 6.8 points in the FIFA World Ranking. Vietnam currently stands 2nd in the World Cup 2022 Asia Qualifiers Group G and 97th in the FIFA World Ranking.

Vietnam will meet the United Arab Emirates and Thailand in November in My Dinh Stadium.
