(VOVworld) - Permanent missions of ASEAN countries to the United Nations (UN) celebrated the “ASEAN Family Day” in New York on Saturday.. Several cultural activities including arts performances, games and sampling of traditional cuisines from all the member nations were held to mark the event. Vietnamese traditional games and dishes wowed the participants who hailed Vietnam’s subtle cuisine and community games. They expressed their wish to visit Vietnam soon.

The event aimed to promote solidarity and mutual support among the missions, and communities of ASEAN countries living and studying in New York.
