The 19km road running through 5 communes and towns is part of a project to connect National Highway 1A with the coastal road.

The new road is 12m wide with two lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes for non-motorized traffic.

The project will cost 30.2 million USD and is expected to be completed after 22 months of construction.
