The Group will be tasked to develop legal documents on marine economy, coordinate partners, share information, mobilize resources, and promote domestic and global cooperation.

After several discussions, the Vietnamese government and its partners agreed to the establishment of a partnership group under an open and flexible format. A cooperative framework will be built and signed and will be voluntary and not legally binding. It will operate as a model of cooperation and coordination for maritime economic development in Vietnam.
