Nguyen Cong Vinh, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria-Vung Tau People's Committee, said on Wednesday that the province had stepped up communications on public loudspeakers in coastal communes, wards and townships to help people understand the EC’s regulations on combating illegal fishing. Up to now, more than 2,600 of the province's nearly 2,800 offshore fishing vessels have installed cruise monitoring equipment, accounting for 94%.
