Rear Admiral Ha said he hopes Colonel Kim will serve as a bridge to promote defense and naval relations between the two countries, and promotethe exchange of high-level delegations.

Kim said in the near future, more RoK navy ships will visit and hold exchanges with the Vietnamese Navy including search and rescue drills.
