Hai Duong works to help COVID-19 affected farmers sell products

(VOVWORLD) - Hai Duong is one of major farm produce hubs of the Red River Delta. Since it became a COVID-19 hotbed, with travel restriction in place, the circulation of agricultural products has been seriously affected. Most of the local roads have been paved. Medical stations, schools, village halls, markets, private homes, stilt houses, and communal houses have been renovated or repaired. Vast hills of coffee, litsea, maize, cassava, and acacia trees are under cultivation.

Ca Mau has successfully built the "Thoi Binh safe rice" brand, which has been recognized by the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam. Spacious houses and schools have been built. These changes are part of an effort by the local Party Committee, government, and people to make Son Dong a new-style rural village and a model for Ben Tre province, the birthplace of the 1960 Uprising.
