(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s traditional craft villages turn out unique products which promotes the image of Vietnam and its people to the world.

(VOVWORLD) - Mountain districts in northwest Quang Nam province have a great potential for economic development but still have a high poverty rate. The three districts of Tay Giang, Dong Giang, and Nam Giang have made a joint effort for economic development and sustainable poverty reduction.

Festivals are rich in spiritual and cultural expressions of the life of the locals. All these have contributed to the special characteristics of Cham ethnic villages at the riverhead of the Mekong Delta.

(VOVWORLD) - Located about 50km east of Hanoi, Lo Cuong village, famous for dried rice noodles, is one of the age-old craft villages in Hai Duong city. In recent years, the village has changed dramatically amid rapid urbanization.

(VOVWORLD) - In Ca Mau, cattails used to be considered a grass-like weed which cluttered land needed for growing rice. But now cattails, also known as bulrushes, have become a profitable specialty of Ca Mau province. Switching from rice to cattails has helped farmers in U Minh district escape poverty. The model is being expanded to give people in the U Minh Ha forest buffer zone a better life.

(VOVWORLD) - Khuoi Ky rock village in Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province has enchanted many visitors with its architecture of stilt houses built from rocks and the local Tay ethnic people’s culture and lifestyle. The village has changed gradually thanks to homestay services.

(VOVWORLD) - Viet Dan commune in Dong Trieu township, Quang Ninh province, is the first commune in Vietnam to be recognized as new-style rural model.

(VOVWORLD) - Cao Bo village in Vi Xuyen district is one of the biggest growers of Shan Tuyet tea in Ha Giang province. Shan Tuyet tea produces high profits and stable incomes for the locals, and greatly contributes to poverty reduction in the area.

(VOVWORLD) - The Sa Phin Agricultural and Forestry Services Co-operative, known as the Lanh Trang (White Flax) Co-operative, was established in 2017 in Ha Giang province to offer opportunities for disadvantaged ethnic minority people. To date, it has helped the locals escape poverty and find stable jobs and incomes.

(VOVWORLD) - Located in Tan Quy Dong commune in Dong Thap province, the 100-year-old Sa Dec village is known as the flower kingdom of the Mekong Delta, providing flowers to many provinces and cities nationwide and even abroad.
