(VOVWORLD) - Nguyet Ang village in Hanoi’s outlying Thanh Tri district is home to many talents who have contributed greatly to the nation. Ta Thanh Oai village and Nguyet Ang are the two doctoral villages of Thanh Tri district.

(VOVWORLD) - Xuan La village in Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi, has long been famous for making To He, a traditional toy made of rice powder. This is the only village in Vietnam that makes the toy figurines. The craft has helped local people earn their living and has contributed to educating the younger generation about Vietnam’s origin, history, and culture.

(VOVWORLD) - Ben Tre province in the Mekong Delta region contains vast groves of green coconut trees and a maze of canals and rivers connecting villages and floating markets. People there, though living in difficult circumstances, have cooperated with local authorities in building new-style rural areas.

(VOVWORLD) - Most of Ben Tre’s vast coconut groves are in the western districts of Chau Thanh, Cho Lach, Mo Cay, and Giong Trom. Annually, the province harvests 600 million coconuts from 70,000 hectares of land to lead Vietnam in both growing area and production output. Ben Tre brand coconut products are diverse and account for 85% of the region’s total output.

(VOVWORLD) - Phu Do Village in Hanoi’s outlying district of Nam Tu Liem is famous for its 400-year-old craft of making fresh rice vermicelli. The village’s progenitor Ho Nguyen Tho was a native of Thanh Hoa province.
