Vietnam’s export revenue from tra fish is currently estimated at more than US$1.2 billion. According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Processors, the country’s total export revenue from tra fish is likely to surpass US$1.5 billion by the end of this year. To this end, exporters and breeders of tra fish in the Mekong River Delta are taking extreme care to conform to globally accepted health and hygiene standards.
