[VOVWORLD] - Team K52 of the Gia Lai provincial Military Command recovered the remains of 18 Vietnamese soldiers as they surveyed 139 communes and wards in Cambodia's Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, and Preah Vihear provinceduring the 2025-2026 dry season.

[VOVWORLD] - Search teams have recovered a total of 100 sets of martyrs' remains and two mass graves at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City after discovering four additional sets of remains on Saturday.

[VOVWORLD] - More than five decades after the war, thousands of graves in martyrs’ cemeteries in Dak Lak province remain marked only as “Unknown Martyr”. Local authorities are intensifying efforts to collect DNA samples and digitize burial records under the ongoing 500-day campaign to identify fallen soldiers in order to help restore the identities of those who laid down their lives for the nation.

[VOVWORLD] - Lam Dong has completed the collection of biological samples for DNA testing at 9 out of 11 cemeteries throughout the province as part of the nationwide 500-day campaign to search for, recover, and identify the remains of fallen soldiers.

[VOVWORLD] - Ca Mau province has accelerated the digitization of martyrs' grave data to support the decoding of grave markers and improve field searches as part of the nationwide 500-Day Campaign to locate, recover, and identify the remains of fallen soldiers.

[VOVWORLD] - As Vietnam marks the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27, Lai Chau and Dien Bien provinces have launched meaningful activities to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the nation while supporting the nationwide 500-Day Campaign to search for and identify the remains of fallen soldiers.

[VOVWORLD] - During the 500-day campaign to search for, recover, and identify of martyrs' remains, advanced DNA testing technology and a national digital database have provided effective tools for identifying the remains of fallen soldiers and returning the martyrs to their families.

[VOVWORLD] - Vietnam has recovered the remains of 1,384 fallen soldiers during the first four months of the nationwide "500-Day Campaign" to search for, recover and identify martyrs' remains, while accelerating DNA collection and verification efforts to identify those still missing personal information.
