[VOVWORLD] - Working groups from the National Steering Committee for the Search, Recovery and Identification of Martyrs' Remains (Steering Committee 515) and Military Region 3 on Monday inspected operations in Quang Ngai and Ninh Binh provinces to accelerate the implementation of the nationwide 500-Day Campaign.

[VOVWORLD] - On January 31, 1968, Vietnamese people and soldiers undertook a historic Spring General Offensive and Uprising, widely known as the Tet Offensive. Many laid down their lives during the battle. Now, soldiers and officers from the Ho Chi Minh City High Command are working day and night searching for the remains of these heroes to return them to their loved ones.

[VOVWORLD] - Quang Ngai province has recovered the remains of 19 fallen soldiers and collected over 2,600 samples for DNA testing, as part of a nationwide 500-day campaign to accelerate the search, recovery and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains.

[VOVWORLD] - More than 1,300 sets of fallen soldiers' remains have been recovered nationwide after more than 110 days of implementing Vietnam's 500-day campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of martyrs' remains.

[VOVWORLD] - Prime Minister Le Minh Hung reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to locating, recovering, and identifying the remains of fallen soldiers, saying the mission will continue until every martyr has been brought home.

[VOVWORLD] - A large-scale operation began on Monday at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City to search for, recover, and identify the remains of soldiers believed to have been buried there after the 1968 Tet Offensive. The search covers three designated areas within the park, spanning approximately 2,500 square meters.

[VOVWORLD] - The National Steering Committee for the Search, Collection, and Identification of Martyrs' Remains launched the search of martyrs' remains at a ceremony in Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday.

[VOVWORLD] - The State Records and Archives Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs has launched a nationwide review of archival documents to support the search, recovery, and identification of the remains of fallen soldiers.

[VOVWORLD] - More than 1,300 sets of martyrs' remains and three mass graves have been recovered under the nationwide "500-day campaign to accelerate the search, recovery and identification of fallen soldiers," said Colonel Le Van Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Policy under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
