(VOVWORLD) - Mong people make up 90% of the inhabitants in Lao Chải commune of the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai. Their lives depend largely on agriculture and forestry. The Mong in Lao Chai make many handicrafts to assist their daily lives. Bamboo and rattan weaving is one of their oldest crafts which they use abundantly around their villages.
