The play was adapted from a book of the same name, the third book of a five-volume series titled “Ten Thousand Miles of the Homeland” (Nuoc Non Van Dam) by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky. “From Viet Bac to Hanoi” took a fresh approach to reviving the glorious history of Vietnam through the traditional art of cai luong.
