Creative spaces add new element to Hanoi’s cultural identity

(VOVWORLD) - Since joining UNESCO's Creative Cities Network in 2019, Hanoi has created a number of unique cultural events and projects. The capital city boasts numerous advantages and potentials to develop creative spaces which have formed part of its distinct cultural identity. More than a hundred creative spaces are currently operating in Hanoi, a positive sign that reflects the role and contributions of culture and the arts to the spiritual and cultural life of local residents.

British musical composition “Little Thuy’s Minuet” portrays Vietnamese women’s beauty and soul

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum has received a musical composition “Little Thuy’s Minuet” from British musician Paul Zetter. Zetter was inspired to compose this piece when he saw the painting “Em Thuy” (Little Thuy) by well-known painter Tran Van Can (1910-1994) during his visit to the museum in 2000.

(VOVWORLD) - The show “Facing Infinity” debuted recently at the Hong Ha Theater in Hanoi, bringing the audience a new, creative approach to traditional theater. This is a collaborative project undertaken by the Lên Ngàn cultural hub, the Vietnam National Tuong Theatre,and choreographer Tu Hoang.
