Coast Guard Ship sets sail to protect national waters during Lunar New Year
(VOVWORLD) - As the Lunar New Year (Tet) approaches, ships from Coast Guard Region 1 are rotating patrols across key sea areas and islands to ensure maritime security.

Vessel CSB 4036 has completed all preparations for its duties, which include law enforcement, patrolling, and preventing illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in the Gulf of Tonkin.
“This is my first Tet at sea, so I felt a bit nervous. But with the encouragement and support of my colleagues, I feel much more confident. I am determined to carry out my mission excellently. This will be a memorable moment in my military career,” said Private Tran The Anh.
The deployment highlights the Coast Guard’s commitment to protecting Vietnam’s national waters during the festive season.
