(VOVWORLD) - President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday, beginning a five-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

The visit holds significant importance as it reaffirms Vietnam’s foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralism and diversification of external relations, and its proactive and active pursuit of comprehensive, extensive and effective integration into the world.
It also demonstrates that parliamentary cooperation is an important pillar of bilateral relations and underscores the commitment of both countries to strengthening linkages, promoting cooperation, and elevating Vietnam-Czech relations to a new height.
