Many streets, squares, and public spaces in Da Nang are brightly decorated to welcome the 14th National Party Congress.

Officials, Party members, and people in Da Nang have expressed strong confidence and high expectations for sound and timely policies with strategic vision, which they said will be a strong impetus for innovation, integration, and sustainable development in the new era.

Phan Van Trinh, former Dean of Philosophy at the Academy of Politics Region III, said that the 14th National Party Congress is highly important, as it will review the implementation of the documents of the 13th Congress and set forth directions and guidelines for the 2025-2030 term. "Party resolutions should provide a general assessment, then delve into specific content, outstanding achievements, limitations, causes, and lessons learned from practice," he added.

Nguyen Ha Bac, a member of the Da Nang Party Committee and Secretary of Lien Chieu Ward Party Committee, said he hopes the Congress will continue to build on and elevate guidelines and policies, so that people are truly the center, the stakeholders, and direct beneficiaries of development achievements.

Pham Van Tien, a resident of Cam Le Ward in Da Nang, said he hopes the Congress will continue to prioritize Party building and rectification, with stronger discipline and accountability, improved grassroots Party organizations, renewed leadership methods, and greater transparency in governance and public service.

Mr. Tien said, “We trust the Party’s leadership. We expect that the 14th National Party Congress will identify the task of Party building and rectification as a key priority. The People expect officials to act with integrity, put the common good first, and strengthen the fight against corruption with no exceptions.”
