Da Nang supports workers returning home for Tet
(VOVWORLD) - The Da Nang Federation of Labor is arranging free bus trips to help nearly 4,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances return home for the Lunar New Year. The federation has also provided 2,000 train tickets.

Ahead of Tet, it distributed 24,000 gift packages worth over 920,000 USD to support workers and union members. Those unable to travel home received 65,000 shopping vouchers.
“This year, more union members and workers have registered for the free bus trips compared to last year. In addition to these buses, we have offered train tickets for those returning to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi,” said Vice Chairman Le Van Dai.
Vietnam Airlines is assisting 550 workers living far from home, providing free tickets to 50 in particularly difficult circumstances and offering a 10% discount with priority seating for the remaining 500.
