(VOVworld)- On Thursday, Japan’s Defense Ministry said that a Chinese surveillance vessel sailed in an area just outside Japan's territorial waters near Kitadaito Island in Okinawa Prefecture in the Pacific Ocean. 

Japan airs concern about China naval ships' moves

An official of the Japanese Defense Ministry revealed that the Japanese Foreign Ministry sent a note to the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo expressing concerns about the incident. The event came just a day after the same Chinese navy ship entered territorial waters west of Kuchinoerabu Island in Kagoshima Prefecture.
